Polyclinic

Healthcare

Polyclinics are government-subsidised primary care clinics that provide a one-stop range of services, including seeing a doctor for common and chronic illnesses, vaccinations, health screening, basic X-rays and lab tests, and dental and pharmacy services. Citizens and PRs pay subsidised rates, which are usually cheaper than private clinics, though waiting times can be longer, especially for walk-ins. Many polyclinics use appointment systems and referrals to specialists at public hospitals. They are a key part of Singapore's public healthcare network for everyday and long-term conditions. Subsidy rates and available services are subject to the latest rules.
