The Community Health Assist Scheme lets eligible Singapore Citizens receive subsidies for medical and dental care at participating private clinics, including general practitioners. Cardholders get help with common illnesses, selected chronic conditions and some dental procedures, with subsidy tiers shown by card colour that depend on household means-testing, and Pioneer and Merdeka Generation seniors receive additional support. It aims to make care near home more affordable so people do not need to travel to polyclinics. You apply for a card and use it at clinics displaying the CHAS logo.
