SkillsFuture
Government
SkillsFuture is a national initiative to encourage lifelong learning and skills upgrading among Singaporeans. A well-known part is the SkillsFuture Credit, an amount the Government provides to citizens aged 25 and above to offset fees for approved courses, with periodic top-ups. There are also schemes for mid-career Singaporeans, course subsidies, and support for employers who train workers. The credit does not expire like cash but can only be used for eligible courses on the official list. It aims to help people stay employable as jobs change. Credit amounts, eligible courses and schemes are subject to the latest rules.
